She watched him come in and take a seat on her bed. He didn’t look at her and just stared straight ahead. She took a deep breath and looked over at him. “I’m sorry about the other night. I really shouldn’t have said that and I don’t want to get into details about what happened either because I really don’t want to fight with you.” She took her eyes off of him and looked down at her lap, thinking if she should continue on with her apology or not. “I..uh…” She trailed off, not knowing what to say. “But I am sorry.” She didn’t really want to bring up Eden, she was still a bit upset over that ordeal from the other night and didn’t have the courage to apologize to the girl about it.
Blake turned to face her before allowing a small smile to appear on his face. “It’s fine,” he replied. “I shouldn’t have gotten pissed off over something as small as that.” He wondered if he was entitled to apologize as well, but seeing as he couldn’t remember if he had said or done anything, he settled for his previous comment. At least , they weren’t arguing over it like he had thought earlier. It was a start. “Eden can be a bit of a handful, but she’s fine once you get to know her…if you ever do.” Looking around he noticed that she had schoolbooks in a pile on the bed. “Homework?”, he questioned grabbing one of the books. Most didn’t know this about Blake, but if he actually liked the subject, he’d do the work the same day he got it.
